ARTISTIC APPROACH
Chiara's work sources from the need of giving voice to the social controversies affecting our times. Her approach to choreography and movement in general comes from a genuine philanthropic interest, that brings her to explore human actions in their depth, digging into their original reasons and meanings. Without fearing the possibility of facing the ugliness and discomfort of the evil our society has been manufacturing and spreading for years, Chiara's purpose is that of encouraging a social engagement as a solution to the isolation we are more and more experiencing.
Often taking inspiration from old mediterranean traditions and rituals, her wish is to create a communal experience with her art, and to deepen our awareness, as individuals sharing the very same reality.
RESISTANCE is undoubtedly the common thread running through all her works, seen as a simple yet powerful act of rebellion, passed down to her by generations who endured hunger and injustice, but who never stopped fighting for a dignified life, for themselves and for those who would come after them.
